The Horrors of the Day of Al-Qaria [The Striking Calamity] ᴴᴰ

Ya Allah have mercy towards us. Grant us husnul khateemah [good ending] and forgive our shortcomings,be pleased with us and Al Jannat be the first and last destination.

...........................

A short explanation (tafseer) and meaning of the day of Al-Qaria, (Judgement Day) the horrors of that day and how one should prepare to protect himself from it,

The Quran here introduces a term (Al-Qaria, meaning "The Striking Calamity"), and asks (the reader) what it means: "What is The Striking Calamity? And what can make you know what the Striking Calamity Is?". The answer is said to be a specific day, when "men will be like scattered moths, and the mountains shall be like plucked wool". This day is another name for the Day of Judgment. The image is of chaos and collapse, both of the social order of humanity, and of the cosmological order of the universe itself.

The Striking Calamity - (1)

What is the Striking Calamity? (2)

And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? (3)

It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, (4)

And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. (5)

Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], (6)

He will be in a pleasant life. (7)

But as for one whose scales are light, (8)

His refuge will be an abyss. (9)

And what can make you know what that is? (10)

It is a Fire, intensely hot. (11)

FORGIVE ME WHEN I WHINE by Bilal Assad

A beautiful lecture! Masha'Allah! Worth listening!

Power of Dua ᴴᴰ - Bilal Assad

Dua is conversation with Allah, our Creator, our Lord and Master, the All Knowing, the All Powerful. This act in itself is of extraordinary significance. It is the most uplifting, liberating, empowering, and transforming conversation a person can ever have. We turn to Him because we know that He alone can lift our sufferings and solve our problems. We feel relieved after describing our difficulties to our Creator. We feel empowered after having communicated with the All Mighty. We sense His mercy all around us after talking to the Most Merciful. We get a new commitment to follow His path for that is the only path for success. We feel blessed with each such commitment.

SURAH AL HUJURAT  [complete chapter]

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allah and His Messenger but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (1)
O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not. (2)
Indeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah - they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for righteousness. For them is forgiveness and great reward. (3)
Indeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of
them do not use reason. (4)

And if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (5)
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful. (6)
And know that among you is the Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided. (7)
[It is] as bounty from Allah and favor. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. (8)
And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. (9)
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy. (10)
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (11)

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful. (12)
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (13)

Best prayer ( Dua ) for laylatul Qadr Amazing Reminder. Must Watch! Mas...

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
I asked: "O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Lailat-ul-Qadr
(Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?"
He (ﷺ) replied, "You should supplicate:
اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

“Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun, tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni .”

(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me)."
