WAITING FOR RAMADHAN :)

Bismillahi RRahmanni Rraheem.
In the name of Allah the most Gracious The Most Merciful.

WAITING FOR RAMADHAN :) Are you ready for Ramadhan?

-It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are put in chains.” (Agreed upon).

Al-Nasaa’i narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Ramadaan comes, the gates of mercy are opened and the gates of Hell are shut, and the devils are put in chains.”

Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 471.

Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Maajah and Ibn Khuzaymah narrated in one report: “When the first night of the month of Ramadaan comes, the devils and rebellious jinn are chained up and the gates of Hell are closed, and not one gate of it is opened. The gates of Paradise are opened and not one gate of it is closed. And a caller cries out: ‘O seeker of good, proceed; O seeker of evil, desist. And Allaah has those whom He redeems from the Fire, and that happens every night.”

Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 759.

O you believed do not follow the footsteps of shaitan!

Bismillahi Rrahmanni Rraheem.
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

"Did I not charge you, O children of Adam! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy, And that you should serve Me; this is the right way. And certainly he led astray numerous people from among you. What! could you not then understand? This is the hell with which you were threatened. "(36:60-63)

Meaning, “Did We not command you from Adam till the last Messenger? Did not all the messengers warn you, awakened you, and alerted you that you must never worship Satan who is your open and severe enemy? You should regard him as your enemy. If you befriend and follow him he will lead you to a very bad place. O Children of Adam! Beware and do not follow the paths of Satan. Do not walk on the footsteps of Satan, as he is your deadly foe.”

"…and do not follow the footsteps of the Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy. "(2:168)

3.) “You know Shaitaan (Devil), yet you have agreed with him”

4.) “You proclaim that you love the Messenger of Allah SAW, yet you abandon his Sunnah”

5.) “You proclaim your love for Paradise, yet you do not act to gain it”

6.) “You proclaim your fear for the Fire, yet you do not prevent yourselves from sins”

7.) “You say “Indeed death is true”, yet you have not prepared for it”

8.)”You engage yourselves with finding faults with others, yet you do not look at your faults”

9.) “You eat of that which Allah SWT has provided for you, yet you do not thank Him”

10.) “You bury your dead, yet you do not take a lesson from it.”

Supplication for a believer in his absence

Abud-Darda' (RadhiAllahu anhu) reported:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) saying:

"Whenever a Muslim supplicates for his (Muslim) brother in his absence, the angels say: `May the same be for you too'.''

[Muslim]

Commentary:
This Hadith makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others.''

Advice in Private

BismiLLah Rrahmanni Rraheem.

Assalaam Alaykum Wa RahmatuLlah Wabarakatuh.

Giving advice should be done privately
If your intention is sincere in wanting to help the person
rather than exposing his defects it should be kept quiet

- “Verily, those who love that the evil and indecent actions of those
who believe should be propagated (and spread), they will have a
painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you know not.
And had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy on you, (Allah would have hastened the punishment on you) and that Allah is full of kindness, Most Merciful”
(An Noor, 24:19, 20).

- Hadith: “Whosoever condemns his brother for a sin (he committed)
that he repented from, will not die until he has committed it (i.e.
the same sin) himself.”

- Al-Fudail, one of the salaf, said: “The believer conceals (the sin of his brother) and advises (him), while the evildoer disgraces and condemns (him).”

- One should refrain from idle conversation and gossip
which may lead to discussing other’s faults.

Quotes from the Quran

BismiLlahi Rrahmanni Rraheem

In the name of Allah The Most Gracious The Merciful.

“And We have indeed made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Qur’an 54:17)

Allah has made the Qur’an easy to memorize; it should be duly noted that of all the books of Allah has revealed to Prophets, it is only the Qur’an that is memorized and stored, in its entirety, in the hearts of men.

Allah made it easy not only to understand the Qur’an, but also to learn lessons from its teachings, which is not surprising considering the fact that it contains in it all wisdom.

Allah made the hearts of men become attached to the noble Qur’an. Normally, if one reads something many times over, one will become bored, and one will tire of reading the same thing over and over again, not finding anything to gain from an additional reading. But such is not true of the Qur’an: A Muslims heart becomes so attached to the Qur’an that, the more he reads it and contemplates its meaning, the more pleasure he derives and the more knowledge he gains.
